PROJECT: Lockheed Martin and UK Space Agency needed to generate an animation of their new launch site, the Shetland Island.

CHALLENGE: The client needed to find a capable 3D animation/post-production vendor to see the project through completion in just 3 weeks time. The project consisted of building 3D geometry, constructing physical location elements to resemble real location, designing story sequence, building a project pipeline, creating particle and cloth simulations, compositing, and final 4k renders for client delivery.

SOLUTION: Manmade Media had just the right combination of technical, creative, and core competencies to dive in and complete the project ON TIME, while providing client review animations at each stage of the project. We decided to utilize Unreal Engine to layout our sequences as well as do our renders, while keeping The Foundry’s Nuke busy with rocket smoke simulations and final composites.
